The Quintablanca Palace is located in the South of Europe, at Álamos, Algarve, in Portugal. The Quintablanca Palace, an unfinished project, is part of a fully walled property with approximated 7,1 hectares of land with a gross building area of 38.309 sqm and it was develop with the architectural help of the Consul of Morocco in Portugal, that brought a lot of influences of that beautiful country to this project. The undertaking is composed of a central unit and 4 cores representative of the 4 constituent elements of the Universe: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. A unique project where most of the interiors were hand made. Facilities includes 93 accommodation units, 3 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, library, chapel, kids club, spa/hammam, tea rooms and piano bar. Central module with a overall surface of 2.157 sqm and a covered area of 5.110 sqm is spread over 4 floors, the two upper floors are located round a Mediterranean patio with a gallery and it includes a number of functional areas : • reception and common rooms; • 36 rooms; • dinning and breakfast rooms and Marrakech grill room; • bar and music room; • chapel and multi-purpose rooms; • indoor swimming pool; • Arab baths; • gym and sauna; • service areas; • kitchen, pantries and larders. Symbolically the chapel stands in the center of the east wing of this module welcoming the guests to Quintablanca Palace. As this is a place of a spiritual nature, it includes an imposing central nave with retable, a baptismal font and an area for prayer with a mihrab. Each of the three Kasbah Modules includes six residential units, each one with a private patio- garden, with water mirror or fountain, common living room with fireplace and a panoramic roof terrace. These units are developed around a majestic central patio with paths and areas which bring to mind the kasbahs of North Africa. The Kasbah l module covers an overall surface area of 1.115 sqm and a covered area of 870 sqm, the Kasbah ll and Kasbah lll modules each cover an overall surface area of 1.206 sqm and a covered area of 945 sqm. The Stables Module with an overall surface area of 3.029 sqm and a covered area of 3.553 sqm, set in the far north of the property, was design and thought to be used for Lusitanian Horses and an Olympic Riding School (this module is unfinished). In the same area we have a space that was also thought to be the Olive Oil Press Module with an overall surface and covered area of 365 sqm (Module unfinished).
